Recently, conducted Science-Zone.net in collaboration with the Journal of Applied Bioanalysis scientists working in the field of OMICS to participate in a survey on OMICS and Multi-OMICs analysis in Biomedical Applications.
What are the main challenges in your Omics work
The main challenge in OMICS is still lack of sufficient sensitivity with the applied analytical techniques followed by the limited high-throughput capabilities of the instrumentation used.
Interesting to see is that although a wide variety of software and specific libraries is available (commercial or open-source) that still a vast majority of the OMICS community has the need for more or different software or libraries
More survey results will be presented tomorrow on this blog.
